Louder LED began with a story that started long before the company had a name.

Jantzen Louder grew up in Hereford, Texas, watching his dad, Steve Louder, lead as the General Manager of Deaf Smith Electric Cooperative. Those early years formed a deep respect for the cooperative mission and the people who keep communities connected.

Jantzen went on to earn degrees in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from Wayland Baptist University and Texas Tech University. He served at South Plains Electric Cooperative, where he gained hands-on operational experience and later became Director of Engineering and Operations.

For 16 years, Jantzen also served in executive pastor and leadership roles, strengthening his ability to lead teams, develop people, and guide organizations through growth and change. When his relationships at SPEC sparked a renewed passion for co-ops, Louder LED was born.

Jantzen and his wife, Abby, have built Louder LED together. As a family-led company, they care deeply about serving cooperatives with integrity, consistency, and a relational approach. They are raising three children, and they see this work as an ongoing way to continue Steve Louder’s legacy through the people and purpose of the cooperative world.
